New Year's Day Fireworks

Time: 3.30pm - 8.30pm

Location: Shelley Foreshore Park, Riverton Drive, Shelley.

A family friendly community concert alongside the beautiful Canning River, including children’s activities (from 3.30pm – 6.30pm), delicious food choices and live music.    

Join in our Community New Year’s Resolutions art installation or be wowed by a dazzling display of fireworks at the end of the evening.

 

PROGRAM:

3.45pm Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony

4.00pm Stillwater Giants

5.00pm Adam Hall & the Velvet Playboys

6.45pm Chain Reaction

8.15pm Fireworks display

The City of Canning together with the Department of Parks and Wildlife bring to you an eco-recreation event, celebrating the natural beauty of the Swan Canning River Park. This free, family friendly event offering eco stalls, community groups, workshops, entertainers and healthy food choices.

Join local company 'Rivergods' in the water and have a free try in one of many kayaks! Guided tours will leave every 30 minutes from the jetty - where you can examine the local wildlife.

 

There will be a bike valet service and water station so ride down to the event and bring your own water bottle!
