Sustainable Schools WA South Metro Regional Network 2017
Supporting education for sustainability in school communities

Join a like-minded group of teachers that are open to sharing ideas and resources that support the use of 'sustainability' as a key context for teaching and learning. This network meets once a term at 3.45 - 6.00pm as follows:
Term 1 Tuesday 21 February
Term 2 Tuesday 16 May AuSSI-WA Toolkit
Term 3 Tuesday 8 August
Term 4 Tuesday 31 October

Catchments, Corridors & Coasts 2017

18th – 20th January 2017
CCC is a three day professional learning experience that provides a snapshot of environmental education in WA. CCC is hosted by the Australian Association for Environmental Education WA Chapter.
Registrations are now open for this popular course suitable for tertiary students or new graduates; community members and groups; youth organisations, teachers, Sustainable Schools Initiative participants, private sector personnel, Environmental Officers, Local and State Government Officers. Making the Connections - Sustainable Schools-WA
Supporting education for sustainability in school communities

A workshop that introduces classroom teachers, school administrators and other school staff to the SS-WA whole school planning framework that supports education for sustainability. Participants are provided with valuable tools and an action checklist for working towards becoming a ‘sustainable school’.
