Building - Application for alternative smoke alarm
The installation of smoke alarms in residential buildings safeguards occupants from smoke induced illness or injury and can limit financial loss by alerting residents, particularly when asleep, of a fire in the building.

You can lodge a new application online using the My Canning portal.
- Log in to My Canning.
- Select Enquiries.
- In the search bar search for smoke alarm
- Click the Start button for the enquiry to begin the online application submission process.
- Log in to My Canning.
- Select My Lodged Applications.
