Youth Consultant Network

The City has launched the first Youth Consultant Network for Canning.

We are excited to offer young people living in the City of Canning the opportunity to join our Youth Consultant Network. The network will provide support and advice to the City on projects and development.

As a member, you will ensure youth perspectives and issues are heard during projects that impact your community. You will have direct input and feedback on City operations and be able to collaborate with each other and staff.

The network will meet monthly to discuss current youth issues, trends, and upcoming engagement opportunities.

Who can join the network?

The network is open to anybody:

• aged 13 to 25 (young people aged below 18 will need parental or guardian consent)
• who lives, studies, works, accesses services or participates in the City of Canning in other ways
• passionate about positive change in the City of Canning.

How do I join?

If you are interested in joining, please complete the sign-up form and send to youth.services@canning.wa.gov.au.

Once the form is submitted, a City of Canning Youth Services Team member will contact you within 5 business days with the next steps.
