Easter operating hours

Civic and Administration Centre

The City of Canning Civic and Administration Building will be closed on Good Friday, 18 April and Easter Monday, 21 April. It will reopen at 8.15am, Tuesday 22 April 2025.

Waste Collection

There will be no kerbside collection on Good Friday and all rounds for that day will be collected on Saturday.

Waste Transfer Station

The Ranford Road Resource Recovery and Waste Transfer Station will be closed Good Friday only, Easter Sunday and Monday are business as usual - 8am – 4.30pm (vehicle entry closes at 4.15pm).

Ranger and Community Safety Services

Our Ranger and Community Safety Services will continue to operate 24 hours a day. For requests of an immediate or urgent nature, please call on 1300 422 664. Press option 1 during the closure period to report urgent requests.

CREEC will be closed for the Easter holidays period from Friday 18 April 2025 and will reopen on Tuesday 22 April 2025.

Leisureplexes

The Cannington and Riverton Leisureplexes will operate the following hours of the Easter holiday period:

Good Friday, 18 April 2025: Closed

Saturday 19 April 2025: 8am - 5pm

Easter Sunday, 20 April 2025: 8am - 5pm

Easter Monday, 21 April 2025: 8am - 5pm

Whaleback Golf Course

Whaleback Golf Course will be open throughout the Easter holidays period, Friday 18 April 2025 - Monday 21 April 2025.

The course will be open from 6.30am to 8pm. The Driving Range will be open from 6.30am to 8pm. Last bucket is at 7.15pm.

No alcohol will be served on Good Friday, 18 April 2025.

Public holiday rates apply on 18 April 2025 (Good Friday), 17 April (Easter Sunday) and 18 April (Easter Monday).
