Have Your Say: Help Shape the Future of the Shelley–Rossmoyne Foreshore

The Shelley Rossmoyne Foreshore is one of our community’s most valued natural spaces, a place where people walk, cycle, kayak, picnic, and connect with nature along the banks of the Canning River.

To ensure this important area continues to meet the needs of the community while protecting its environmental values, the City of Canning is undertaking a Community Access Review.

We want to hear from you!

Whether you’re a local resident, a regular visitor, or someone who cares about the future of our riverside environment, your feedback is essential. This is your opportunity to help shape how the foreshore is accessed, managed, and enjoyed into the future.

Get involved by:

  • Completing a short online survey about how you use the foreshore
  • Adding comments to an interactive map to highlight key locations, issues, or ideas

As a thank you, everyone who completes both the survey and the map will go in the draw to win 1 of 4 $50 gift vouchers!

Why your input matters

Your feedback will help identify what’s working well, where improvements are needed, and how we can strike the right balance between recreational use and environmental conservation. The results will help inform future planning and access recommendations as part of this Riverbank Grant funded project, delivered in partnership with Emerge Associates.
