Major events

The City of Canning’s vision is to create a welcome and thriving city that is recognised for the opportunities it offers all residents and visitors.

Events play an important role for our community and provide significant cultural, economic and social benefit. They act to connect people and the community together and help foster a shared sense of place, celebrating the diversity of our people, place and experiences.

Our calendar of events for the 2024-2025 season is nearing an end and we’ve received wonderful feedback. Thank you to our community who has shown up and had a fabulous time, we look forward to seeing you in the near future. Your feedback over the season will help make our events bigger and better – while continuing to meet the needs of our community. Keep an eye on this webpage for our next season of events!

To keep up to date with our future events and updates or view a previous event's photos, please follow our Facebook page. Make sure you also sign up to our Community eNewsletter to keep up to date with the City's free programs and events happening near you.
