Our community is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to foster a culture of lifelong learning and community connection by providing resources, spaces, programs, and experiences. We create opportunities for the community to read, learn, and connect with each other and the world.

The City's collections are developed and maintained in line with the Collection Development Guidelines (PDF 14MB). These guidelines align with the Learning City Strategy 2020-2024.

Canning Libraries are dedicated to providing and maintaining a collection of materials reflective of community interest.

Visit Hillview Hub for a small, curated collection of Language Other than English, bilingual and multicultural items.

Visit CREEC for a library collection focussed on sustainability, ecology and First Nations.
